Hoavi is the alias of Kirill Vasin, an electronic musician and producer from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Active since the early 2010s, when he founded his own label Shells Rattle. Besides Hoavi, he has also released music under the alias A.B.S.T.R.A.. His music draws from familiar reference points — deepest dub techno, atmospheric ambient, and liquid drum'n'bass — approached with a singular and refreshing point of view, blending new age and dream pop into densely immersive soundscapes.
