Kate Davis (born Kathryn L. Davis on 4 February 1991 in West Linn, OR) is an American singer, songwriter, and bassist. Davis has been involved with music from an early age, having picked up the violin when she was only five, which became her musical outlet until a move to the Pacific Northwest exposed her to the jazz scene, after which the upright bass and vocals became her rhythmic and melodic muse.
