Harry Hayes

Harry Hayes (1909-2002) was an English jazz saxophonist. Hayes was born in Marylebone, London on 23rd March 1909, the son of a bookmaker. At the age of eleven he won a scholarship to the local grammar school, and his parents rewarded him with the gift of a soprano saxophone.
